In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting Union Grove Lions volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Linden-Kildare Tigers.
The Lions (12-21) will now prepare for their challenge against Pewitt (Omaha, TX). The Brahmas come into the 2A Region III District 18 challenge with a 9-19 record. In their last challenge, Pewitt beat Big Sandy (Big Sandy, TX), 3-1, in a league challenge.
Next, the Tigers play the Hawkins Hawks (Hawkins, TX) in a 2A Region III District 18 challenge, on Friday, October 25. Linden-Kildare will attempt to upgrade on its 21-11 season record.
