L.W. Higgins Hurricanes (Marrero, LA) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy Bulldogs (New Orleans, LA), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, L.W. Higgins improves its record to 5-16 on the season. The Hurricanes travel to West St. John (Edgard, LA) to face the Rams in a non-league test on Wednesday, October 23. The Rams go into the test with a record of 4-18. West St. John lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Riverside Academy (Reserve, LA)

The Bulldogs now own a 3-17 record. They put it on the line next when they host Edna Karr for a Division II District 8 test on Thursday, October 24. New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy will face a Cougars squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy (Westwego, LA). The Cougars record now stands at 10-6.
