In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Whitman Vikings (Bethesda, MD) soccer team edged the host Churchill Bulldogs (Potomac, MD), by a tally of 1-0.
Next, the Vikings face the Quince Orchard Cougars (Gaithersburg, MD) in a non-league contest, on Friday, October 24. Whitman will attempt to better on its 7-1 season record. The Cougars go into the challenge with a 8-2 record after their 4-0 non-league win over Gaithersburg (Gaithersburg, MD).
With the loss, Churchill moves to 6-6 on the year.
