La Cueva Bears (Albuquerque, NM) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Santa Fe Demons (Santa Fe, NM), 5-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, La Cueva moves its record to 15-4 on the campaign. The Bears host Manzano (Albuquerque, NM) to meet the Monarchs in a 5A District 2 test on Saturday, October 25. The Monarchs come into the test with a record of 8-10. Manzano won 10-0 in their recent league test against Capital (Santa Fe, NM)

The Demons now sport a 9-10 record. They take the field next when they host Sandia for a 5A District 2 test on Saturday, October 25. Santa Fe will meet a Matadors team coming off a 4-0 league loss to Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM). The Matadors record now stands at 7-12.
