Goochland Bulldogs (Goochland, VA) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Monticello Mustangs (Charlottesville, VA), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Goochland upgrades its record to 17-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Louisa County (Mineral, VA) to meet the Lions in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, October 29. The Lions go into the test with a record of 10-10. Louisa County lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA)

The Mustangs now sport a 5-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Orange County for a non-league test on Thursday, October 23. Monticello will face a Fighting Hornets squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Goochland (Goochland, VA). The Fighting Hornets record now stands at 1-16.
