Fans at Wednesday's league battle between the Blue Ridge Early College Bobcats (Cashiers, NC) and the visiting Tri-County Jaguars (Murphy, NC), saw Blue Ridge Early College's soccer squad knock off Tri-County by a count of 4-1.

The Bobcats (7-6) will now prepare for their match against Murphy (Murphy, NC). The Bulldogs come into the Smoky Mountain 1A/2A match with a 12-3 record. In their last match, Murphy nipped Summit Charter (Cashiers, NC), 3-0, in a league match.

The Jaguars now sport a 0-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hayesville for a Smoky Mountain 1A/2A battle on Monday, October 27. Tri-County will battle a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 4-2 league loss to Swain County (Bryson City, NC). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 4-7.
