In Wednesday's league contest, the Research Triangle Raptors (Research Triangle Park, NC) soccer team edged the host East Wake Academy Eagles (Zebulon, NC), by a count of 2-1.
Next, the Raptors battle the NCSSM: Durham Unicorns (Durham, NC) in a Diamond Nine 1A/2A/3A contest, on Monday, October 27. Research Triangle will attempt to upgrade on its 13-5 season record. The Unicorns enter the contest with a 16-1 record after their 0-0 league Franklin Academy (Wake Forest, NC).
