Next, the Bears face the Manzano Monarchs (Albuquerque, NM) in a 5A District 2 game, on Saturday, October 25. La Cueva will attempt to advance on its 16-1 season record. The Monarchs come into the game with a 7-12 record after their 4-0 league loss to Capital (Santa Fe, NM).

The Demons (7-12) will now prepare for their game against Sandia (Albuquerque, NM). The Matadors come into the 5A District 2 game with a 13-4 record. In their last game, Sandia was overwhelmed by Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM), 3-1, in a league bout.
