Fans at Wednesday's league battle between the West Henderson Falcons (Hendersonville, NC) and the visiting North Henderson Knights (Hendersonville, NC), saw West Henderson's soccer squad triumph over North Henderson by a count of 6-0.
The Falcons (11-8) will now prepare for their battle against Franklin (Franklin, NC). The Panthers come into the Mountain Eight 4A/5A match with a 8-12 record. In their last match, Franklin nipped Smoky Mountain (Sylva, NC), 4-2, in a league match.
The Knights now sport a 11-9 record. They take the field next when they host Smoky Mountain for a Mountain Eight 4A/5A match on Monday, October 27. North Henderson will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 4-2 league loss to Franklin (Franklin, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-14.
