The Petersburg Vikings soccer squad scored 3 points and held the host Pocahontas County Warriors to 1 in the Vikings non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Vikings now possess a 5-10 record. They play next when they travel to Frankfort for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 25. Petersburg will play a Falcons squad coming off a 9-1 non-league win over Philip Barbour (Philippi, WV). The Falcons record now stands at 12-4.
With the loss, Pocahontas County moves to 8-10 on the year.
