North Carolina High School Soccer - West Wilkes nudges Starmount

In Wednesday's league outing, the host West Wilkes Blackhawks soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Starmount Rams.

The Blackhawks (10-9) will now prepare for their outing against Elkin (Elkin, NC). The Buckin' Elks go into the Mountain Valley 2A/3A/4A outing with a 18-2 record. In their last outing, Elkin got by North Wilkes (Hays, NC), 9-0, in a league test.

The Rams now have a 9-8 record. They take the field next when they host North Wilkes for a Mountain Valley 2A/3A/4A test on Monday, October 27. Starmount will play a Vikings squad coming off a 9-0 league loss to Elkin (Elkin, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 4-14.
