In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the host Boaz Pirates volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the St. Clair County Fighting Saints.
The Pirates (33-17) will now prepare for their test against Arab (Arab, AL). The Knights go into the non-league test with a 31-25 record. In their last test, Arab gained a win over John Carroll Catholic (Birmingham, AL), 3-0, in a non-league test.
The Fighting Saints now sport a 27-22 record.
