The Guy-Perkins Thunderbirds volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Ozark Catholic Academy Griffins to 2 in the Thunderbirds non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Thunderbirds now have a 17-8 record. They play next when they travel to Piggott for a non-league outing on Monday, October 27. Guy-Perkins will play a Mohawks squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Cotter (Cotter, AR). The Mohawks record now stands at 22-6.

The Griffins (11-8) will now prepare for their game against Marshall (Marshall, AR). The Bobcats go into the non-league game with a 12-7 record. In their last game, Marshall nudged Cedar Ridge (Newark, AR), 3-2, in a non-league outing.
