In Monday's league battle, the host Tuscola Mountaineers soccer squad scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Smoky Mountain Mustangs.
The Mountaineers (2-13) will now prepare for their battle against West Henderson (Hendersonville, NC). The Falcons come into the Mountain Seven 3A battle with a 11-7 record. In their last battle, West Henderson was nudged by Franklin (Franklin, NC), 1-0, in a league battle.
