In Monday's non-league contest, the Alcester-Hudson Cubs (Alcester, SD) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Viborg/Hurley Cougars (Viborg, SD), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Cubs battle the Freeman Flyers (Freeman, SD) in a B Region 4 contest, on Tuesday, October 24. Alcester-Hudson will attempt to better on its 18-9 season record. The Flyers go into the contest with a 13-14 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Canistota (Canistota, SD).

With the loss, Viborg/Hurley moves to 7-19 on the year.
