Louisiana High School Volleyball - St. Mary's Academy overwhelmed by Booker T. Washington

In Monday's non-league battle, the host Booker T. Washington Lions volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the St. Mary's Academy Cougars.
The Lions (15-22) will now prepare for their battle against Academy of Our Lady (Marrero, LA). The Penguins come into the Division II District 7 battle with a 23-8 record. In their last battle, Academy of Our Lady lost by Vandebilt Catholic (Houma, LA), 3-2, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Cougars clash with the Christ Episcopal School Wildcats (Covington, LA) in a Division V District 7 battle, on Tuesday, October 24. St. Mary's Academy will attempt to advance on its 4-11 season record. The Wildcats come into the battle with a 14-9 record after their 3-1 league loss to Crescent City Christian (Metairie, LA).
