The Farmington Scorpions soccer squad scored 7 points and held the visiting Cibola Cougars to 0 in the Scorpions non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Scorpions now hold a 9-3 record. They play next when they travel to Piedra Vista for a non-league bout on Friday, October 25. Farmington will play a Panthers squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Rio Rancho (Rio Rancho, NM). The Panthers record now stands at 10-5.
With the loss, Cibola moves to 1-11 on the year. The Cougars host Volcano Vista (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 26. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 8-3. Volcano Vista won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Cleveland (Rio Rancho, NM)
