The Capital Jaguars smashed the visiting Manzano Monarchs soccer team by a tally of 7-0 in Wednesday's league game.
Next, the Jaguars face the Eldorado Golden Eagles (Albuquerque, NM) in a 5A District 2 game, on Saturday, October 26. Capital will attempt to advance on its 8-10 season record. The Golden Eagles enter the game with a 12-4 record after their 5-1 league win over Sandia (Albuquerque, NM).
The Monarchs (0-15) will now prepare for their game against La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM). The Bears enter the 5A District 2 game with a 14-1 record. In their last game, La Cueva held off Santa Fe (Santa Fe, NM), 4-1, in a league game.
