The Farmington Scorpions edged the host Cibola Cougars soccer team by a tally of 5-4 in Wednesday's league game.
Next, the Scorpions face the Piedra Vista Panthers (Farmington, NM) in a 5A District 1 game, on Saturday, October 26. Farmington will attempt to advance on its 5-14 season record. The Panthers enter the game with a 11-7 record after their 1-0 league loss to Rio Rancho (Rio Rancho, NM).
