In Wednesday's league outing, the visiting Eldorado Golden Eagles soccer squad scored a tight 5-1 victory over the Sandia Matadors.

The Golden Eagles (12-4) will now prepare for their outing against Capital (Santa Fe, NM). The Jaguars go into the 5A District 2 outing with a 8-10 record. In their last outing, Capital got by Manzano (Albuquerque, NM), 7-0, in a league outing.

Next up, the Matadors play the Santa Fe Demons (Santa Fe, NM) in a 5A District 2 outing, on Saturday, October 26. Sandia will attempt to improve on its 8-10 season record. The Demons go into the outing with a 11-7 record after their 4-1 league loss to La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM).
