Fans at Wednesday's league contest between the Fluvanna County Flying Flucos (Palmyra, VA) and the host Louisa County Lions (Mineral, VA), observed Fluvanna County's volleyball team hold off Louisa County by a count of 3-2.

The Flying Flucos (14-7) will now prepare for their contest against Goochland (Goochland, VA). The Bulldogs enter the Jefferson contest with a 14-3 record.

Next, the Lions meet the Albemarle Patriots (Charlottesville, VA) in a Jefferson contest, on Tuesday, October 29. Louisa County will attempt to move on its 10-8 season record. The Patriots enter the contest with a 18-2 record after their 3-0 league win over Charlottesville (Charlottesville, VA).
