Fans at Wednesday's league contest between the Santa Teresa Saints (San Jose, CA) and the host Live Oak Acorns (Morgan Hill, CA), observed Santa Teresa's volleyball team top Live Oak by a count of 3-0.

The Saints (4-13) will now prepare for their contest against Yerba Buena (San Jose, CA). The Aztec Warriors enter the BVAL - Santa Teresa East contest with a 9-15 record. In their last contest, Yerba Buena was knocked off by Silver Creek (San Jose, CA), 3-1, in a league contest.

Next, the Acorns battle the Gilroy Mustangs (Gilroy, CA) in a BVAL - Santa Teresa East contest, on Friday, October 25. Live Oak will attempt to move on its 1-18 season record. The Mustangs enter the contest with a 10-21 record after their 3-0 league win over Hill (San Jose, CA).
