In Wednesday's league challenge, the visiting Niles West Wolves volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Vernon Hills Cougars.
The Wolves (23-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Resurrection (Chicago, IL). The Bandits enter the non-league challenge with a 13-17 record. In their last challenge, Resurrection was beaten by St. Laurence (Burbank, IL), 2-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Cougars meet the Libertyville Wildcats (Libertyville, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 24. Vernon Hills will attempt to upgrade on its 21-12 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 22-12 record after their 2-0 league win over Warren Township (Gurnee, IL).
