In Thursday's league match, the visiting Dunbar Crimson Tide football squad scored a good 46-19 triumph over the Roosevelt Roughriders.
The Crimson Tide (2-6) will now prepare for their match against Woodson (Washington, DC). The Warriors come into the DCIAA - Stars match with a 2-6 record. In their last match, Woodson was beaten by Eastern (Washington, DC), 30-0, in a league match.
Coming up next, the Roughriders confront the Coolidge Colts (Washington, DC) in a DCIAA - Stars match, on Saturday, November 1. Roosevelt will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Colts come into the match with a 5-4 record after their 41-0 league win over Jackson-Reed (Washington, DC).
