The Habersham Central Raiders edged the visiting Apalachee Wildcats flag football team by a score of 6-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Raiders face the Gainesville Red Elephants (Gainesville, GA) in a D1 Area 8 challenge, on Wednesday, October 29. Habersham Central will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record.
The Wildcats (3-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Cedar Shoals (Athens, GA). The Jaguars enter the D3 Area 8 challenge with a 7-2 record. In their last challenge, Cedar Shoals held off Mountain View (Lawrenceville, GA), 26-7, in a non-league challenge.
