The Marquez Gladiators flag football team scored 7 points and restricted the visiting Elizabeth Bulldogs to 0 in the Gladiators non-league win on Thursday.

In their next game, the Gladiators face the Maywood CES Wolfpack (Maywood, CA) in a Central challenge, on Thursday, October 30. Marquez will attempt to improve on its 5-6 season record. The Wolfpack go into the challenge with a 6-9 record after their 13-0 league win over Sotomayor (Los Angeles, CA).

The Bulldogs (1-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Torres (Los Angeles, CA). The Toros go into the Central challenge with a 3-11 record. In their last challenge, Torres was edged by Sotomayor (Los Angeles, CA), 40-0, in a league test.
