Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Millbrook Pioneers (Winchester, VA) and the host Liberty Eagles (Bealeton, VA), observed Millbrook's volleyball team hold off Liberty by a count of 2-1.

The Pioneers (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against Sherando (Stephens City, VA). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 13-6 record. In their last contest, Sherando got by Fauquier (Warrenton, VA), 2-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Eagles battle the Handley Judges (Winchester, VA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, October 28. Liberty will attempt to improve on its 7-11 season record. The Judges go into the battle with a 11-4 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Brentsville District (Nokesville, VA).
