The Chapel Hill Tigers edged the visiting Riverside-Durham Pirates soccer squad by a margin of 1-0 in Thursday's league bout.
The Tigers now hold a 12-4 record. They play next when they travel to Southern School of Energy and Sustainability for a Tobacco Road 6A/7A bout on Tuesday, October 28. Chapel Hill will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 1-0 league win over East Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 16-2.
With the loss, Riverside-Durham moves to 7-9 on the year. The Pirates host Northern Durham (Durham, NC) to encounter the Knights in a Tobacco Road 6A/7A challenge on Tuesday, October 28. The Knights go into the challenge with a record of 4-14.
