North Carolina High School Soccer - South Davidson held off by North Stokes

In Thursday's league outing, the host North Stokes Vikings soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 win over the South Davidson Wildcats.
The Vikings (6-12) will now prepare for their outing against Phoenix Academy (High Point, NC). The Firebirds enter the non-league outing with a 4-14 record. In their last test, Phoenix Academy was tipped by Cornerstone Charter (Greensboro, NC), 2-0, in a league test.
The Wildcats now sport a 3-11 record. They take the field next when they host South Stokes for a Greater Triad 1A/2A test on Monday, October 27. South Davidson will clash with a Sauras team coming off a 7-1 league win over South Davidson (Denton, NC). The Sauras record now stands at 8-6.
