In Thursday's non-league match, the Bettye Davis East Anchorage Thunderbirds (Anchorage, AK) volleyball squad overcame the visiting Juneau-Douglas Crimson Bears (Juneau, AK), by a score of 3-0.

With the win, Bettye Davis East Anchorage improves its record to 13-18 on the season.

The Crimson Bears now own a 19-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dimond for a non-league battle on Friday, October 24. Juneau-Douglas will encounter a Lynx squad coming off a 3-0 league win over West Anchorage (Anchorage, AK). The Lynx record now stands at 21-9.
