Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Houghton Academy Panthers (Houghton, NY) and the host Bolivar-Richburg Wolverines (Bolivar, NY), saw Houghton Academy's volleyball squad notch a victory over Bolivar-Richburg by a score of 3-0.

With the win, Houghton Academy improves its record to 11-4 on the season. The Panthers travel to Cuba-Rushford (Cuba, NY) to encounter the Rebels in a Section 5 Allegany County battle on Saturday, October 25. The Rebels go into the battle with a record of 13-2. Cuba-Rushford won 3-0 in their recent league battle against Genesee Valley (Belmont, NY)

The Wolverines now own a 8-6 record.
