In Thursday's league challenge, the host Byrd Yellow Jackets volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Haughton Buccaneers.
The Yellow Jackets (28-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Fontainebleau (Mandeville, LA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 22-13 record. In their last challenge, Fontainebleau lost by Northshore (Slidell, LA), 3-2, in a league challenge.
Next, the Buccaneers play the West Monroe Rebels (West Monroe, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 27. Haughton will attempt to upgrade on its 8-13 season record.
