With the win, Corona improves its record to 4-9 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Mountainair (Mountainair, NM) to encounter the Mustangs in a 1A District 3 battle on Monday, November 3. The Mustangs go into the battle with a record of 6-10.

The Eagles now own a 0-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Alamo Navajo for a 1A District 3 battle on Tuesday, October 28. Vaughn will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Carrizozo (Carrizozo, NM). The Cougars record now stands at 13-4.
