Arizona High School Volleyball - Kofa bounced by Gila Ridge

Gila Ridge Hawks (Yuma, AZ) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Kofa Kings (Yuma, AZ), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Hawks (22-9) will now prepare for their challenge against San Luis (San Luis, AZ). The Sidewinders come into the 6A - Desert Southwest challenge with a 1-15 record. In their last challenge, San Luis was beaten by Cibola (Yuma, AZ), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Kings meet the Cibola Raiders (Yuma, AZ) in a 6A - Desert Southwest test, on Monday, October 27. Kofa will attempt to advance on its 5-12 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 3-12 record after their 3-0 league win over San Luis (San Luis, AZ).
