The Middlesex Chargers football team (Saluda, VA), was beaten 39-20 in Monday's non-league challenge with the host Northampton Yellowjackets (Eastville, VA)
The Yellowjackets (3-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Nandua (Onley, VA). The Warriors come into the Eastern Shore challenge with a 5-3 record. In their last challenge, Nandua achieved victory over Arcadia (Oak Hall, VA), 23-6, in a league challenge.
The Chargers now sport a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host King & Queen Central for a Tidewater challenge on Friday, October 28. Middlesex will meet a Royal Tigers team coming off a 30-0 league win over West Point (West Point, VA). The Royal Tigers record now stands at 7-1.
