Asheboro Blue Comets (Asheboro, NC) supporters were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Ledford Panthers (Thomasville, NC), 6-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Blue Comets confront the Montgomery Central Timberwolves (Troy, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, October 26. Asheboro will attempt to move on its 11-0 season record. The Timberwolves enter the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 3-1 league loss to Oak Grove (Winston-Salem, NC).
The Panthers now possess a 3-8 record. They take the field next when they host North Davidson for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, October 26.
