In Monday's non-league battle, the host Laney Buccaneers soccer squad scored a close 4-0 triumph over the West Brunswick Trojans.

The Buccaneers (10-4) will now prepare for their battle against Topsail (Hampstead, NC). The Pirates come into the non-league test with a 9-4 record. In their last test, Topsail got by North Brunswick (Leland, NC), 6-0, in a non-league test.

With the loss, West Brunswick drops to 3-9 on the season. The Trojans travel to South Brunswick (Southport, NC) to meet the Cougars in a non-league test on Wednesday, October 26. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 0-1. South Brunswick lost 5-0 in their recent non-league test against Topsail (Hampstead, NC)
