The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Winchester Red & Black (Winchester, MA) and the host Woburn Memorial Tanners (Woburn, MA), saw Winchester's volleyball squad nip Woburn Memorial by a tally of 2-1.

With the victory, Winchester improves its record to 1-1 on the season.

The Tanners (13-5) will now prepare for their test against Belmont (Belmont, MA). The Marauders enter the test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Belmont was nudged by Woburn Memorial (Woburn, MA), 2-0, in a league test.
