The Cortez Colts volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Coronado Dons to 0 in the Colts league victory on Monday.
The Colts now possess a 2-17 record. They put it on the line next when they host Apache Junction for a 4A - Black Canyon game on Tuesday, October 25. Cortez will meet a Prospectors team coming off a 3-0 league win over Vista Grande (Casa Grande, AZ). The Prospectors record now stands at 15-8.
The Dons (0-14) will now prepare for their game against Dysart (El Mirage, AZ). The Demons enter the 4A - Black Canyon game with a 10-10 record. In their last game, Dysart defeated Tempe (Tempe, AZ), 3-1, in a league game.
