The Newburyport Clippers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Triton Regional Vikings to 0 in the Clippers league victory on Monday.

The Clippers now have a 16-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Georgetown for a Cape Ann game on Wednesday, October 26. Newburyport will meet a Royals team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Lynnfield (Lynnfield, MA). The Royals record now stands at 5-11.

The Vikings (3-9) will now prepare for their game against Lynnfield (Lynnfield, MA). The Pioneers enter the Cape Ann game with a 15-3 record. In their last game, Lynnfield gained a win over Georgetown (Georgetown, MA), 3-0, in a league game.
