The Valencia Jaguars held off the visiting Belen Eagles volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Jaguars now have a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grants for a non-league test on Thursday, October 26. Valencia will confront a Pirates team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Valencia (Los Lunas, NM). The Pirates record now stands at 10-2.
The Eagles (8-6) will now prepare for their test against St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM). The Sartans enter the non-league test with a 10-1 record. In their last test, St. Pius X held off Highland (Albuquerque, NM), 2-0, in a non-league test.
