In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Normal University Pioneers (Normal, IL) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Bloomington Purple Raiders (Bloomington, IL), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Pioneers face the Mahomet-Seymour Bulldogs (Mahomet, IL) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, October 26. Normal University will attempt to better on its 33-3 season record. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a 31-4 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Rantoul (Rantoul, IL).

With the loss, Bloomington moves to 9-26 on the year.
