In Thursday's league match, the Great Bridge Wildcats (Chesapeake, VA) volleyball squad tipped the visiting Indian River Braves (Chesapeake, VA), by a count of 3-2.
Next up, the Wildcats battle the Granby Comets (Norfolk, VA) in a non-league match, on Monday, October 28. Great Bridge will attempt to move on its 12-8 season record.
The Braves (11-10) will now prepare for their match against First Colonial (Virginia Beach, VA). The Patriots enter the non-league match with a 19-2 record. In their last match, First Colonial held off Hickory (Chesapeake, VA), 3-0, in a non-league match.
