Texas High School Football - Jay prevails Martin

October 24, 2024: San Antonio, TX 78227

In Thursday's league match, the host Jay Mustangs football squad scored a good 31-12 triumph over the Martin Tigers.

The Mustangs (8-0) will now prepare for their match against Southwest (San Antonio, TX). The Dragons come into the 5A-1 Region IV District 14 match with a 8-0 record. In their last match, Southwest defeated Winn (Eagle Pass, TX), 31-10, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Tigers confront the Cigarroa Toros (Laredo, TX) in a 5A-1 Region IV District 14 match, on Friday, November 1. Martin will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Toros come into the match with a 0-8 record after their 12-10 league loss to Nixon (Laredo, TX).
