In Thursday's league match, the host Laney Wildcats flag football squad scored a close 20-13 triumph over the Jefferson County Warriors.

The Wildcats (3-2) will now prepare for their match against Cross Creek (Augusta, GA). The Razorbacks come into the D2 Area 2 match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Cross Creek tipped Josey (Augusta, GA), 8-6, in a league match.
