In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting New Iberia Yellowjackets volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Acadiana Rams.

The Yellowjackets (12-18) will now prepare for their challenge against Comeaux (Lafayette, LA). The Spartans come into the non-league challenge with a 6-10 record. In their last challenge, Comeaux was nudged by Southside (Youngsville, LA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Rams meet the Carencro Bears (Lafayette, LA) in a Division I District 3 challenge, on Tuesday, October 29. Acadiana will attempt to upgrade on its 9-13 season record. The Bears come into the challenge with a 7-13 record after their 3-0 league loss to Barbe (Lake Charles, LA).
