The Superior Central Cougars volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Big Bay de Noc Black Bears to 1 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Cougars now have a 9-9 record. They play next when they travel to Rapid River for a Skyline outing on Tuesday, October 29. Superior Central will play a Rockets team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Mid Peninsula (Rock, MI). The Rockets record now stands at 0-13.
With the loss, Big Bay de Noc drops to 12-5 on the campaign.
