In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Brusly Panthers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Port Allen Pelicans.
The Panthers (12-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Zachary (Zachary, LA). The Broncos come into the non-league challenge with a 9-13 record. In their last challenge, Zachary lost by Central (Baton Rouge, LA), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Pelicans play the University Lab Cubs (Baton Rouge, LA) in a Division III District 4 challenge, on Monday, October 28. Port Allen will attempt to upgrade on its 11-10 season record.
