In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Roosevelt Bears volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the Carlson Marauders.

The Bears (15-18) will now prepare for their challenge against Lincoln Park (Lincoln Park, MI). The Railsplitters enter the Downriver challenge with a 7-17 record. In their last challenge, Lincoln Park beat Taylor (Taylor, MI), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Marauders meet the Trenton Trojans (Trenton, MI) in a Downriver challenge, on Tuesday, October 29. Carlson will attempt to upgrade on its 5-14 season record. The Trojans enter the challenge with a 16-9 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Richard (Riverview, MI).
