In Thursday's league challenge, the host St. George's Dragons volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Chewelah Cougars.

The Dragons (2-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Newport (Newport, WA). The Grizzlies come into the 2B Bi-County challenge with a 5-11 record. In their last challenge, Newport lost by Kettle Falls (Kettle Falls, WA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Cougars play the Northwest Christian School Crusaders (Colbert, WA) in a 2B Bi-County challenge, on Tuesday, October 29. Chewelah will attempt to upgrade on its 2-14 season record. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a 17-3 record after their 3-0 league win over Kettle Falls (Kettle Falls, WA).
